In one sentence: the extension only records public content you browsed yourself. By default it stays on your own computer and is never sent to any server.
While you browse Xiaohongshu or Douyin normally, the extension organises the public information you have already seen (title, author name, like/save/comment counts, publish date, cover link, note link; for notes you opened, also the body text and comments) into a spreadsheet for your own content analysis.
It never auto-scrolls, auto-clicks, auto-navigates, or sends any network request on your behalf. You control the pace; it only writes down what you saw.

Cloud mode requires signing in: we send a one-time code to the email you enter (via Cloudflare's email service). No password, no account registration. The code is valid for 10 minutes and used only for that sign-in.
The extension does not collect: your Xiaohongshu / Douyin passwords or credentials, private messages, personal identity information, browsing history on any other site, or location.
Recorded content exists only in your browser and on your computer. Exported files go to your own Downloads folder. Nothing passes through our servers; it works offline.
In the extension's settings you can switch on the data improvement program. When it is on, after a cloud analysis finishes we keep a de-identified statistical summary of the result: the content directions found, the kinds of title templates that worked, and per-keyword engagement averages. We never keep note bodies, comments, nicknames, user IDs or anything that points to a specific post or person. These summaries are used only to improve report quality and to build industry-level aggregate insights (for example, which directions are rising across a category). Participants receive one extra run per month. You can switch it off at any time; summaries already kept are not linked to your account and cannot be traced back to you.
If you don't want anything to leave your computer, use local mode or the desktop edition; both are fully functional.

Local mode involves no third party. In cloud mode, de-identified content is sent to AI providers (DeepSeek, Alibaba Cloud Bailian) for text analysis under their own terms.
Local data: click Clear in the extension, or uninstall it. Server data: raw content is deleted automatically after processing; to delete billing records, contact us below.
The extension is for business content analysis and is not directed at children under 14; we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes update the date at the top of this page. Material changes to data use will be announced in the extension and require your consent.
